PURCHASING ENGINEER

Primary functions of job:

• You will review Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Order placement
• You will meets vendor to negotiate, improve pricing, product quality, and delivery
• You will review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids to supplier through RFQ process
• You will perform vendor assessment and evaluation
• You will also perform to achieve the department's targets / KPI set by company (in terms of cost saving, days payable outstanding, on time delivery, etc) 

Requirements:

• You have a minimum Bachelor degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• You have a minimum 3-5 years working experience in a purchasing or sourcing function in manufacturing industry
• Understands about upstream and downstream at purchasing area
• Have experience in cost breakdown analysis
• Understands about export import / international trading procedures is an advantage
• Have initiatives, cooperative with others and able to organize his/her own work well 
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and proficient in MS Office especially at MS Excel
