Marketing Manager Jakarta

Main Duties:
Trade marketing (professional stylists and salons)
  • Plan, coordinate and execute trade marketing programmes to engage top salons and top stylists to use, recommend and retail ghd products.
  • Coordinate sponsorships, events, PR and advertising
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Support sales efforts with strong sales presentations and supporting materials
  • Support relationships with key salons and major chains from a marketing perspective
Consumer marketing
  • Plan, coordinate and execute consumer marketing programmes to build awareness, interest, engagement and purchase amongst target consumers
  • Coordinate PR, events, media opportunities and advertising
  • Support salons with strong POS/Visual merchandising to optimize retail in salon
Education
  • Plan and deliver (in coordination with global education team and local guest educators and ambassadors) an education programme targeted at professional stylists each calendar year
  • Manage all relationships, venues, attendees, etc.
Other
  • Deliver local marketing in line with global ghd brand
  • Co-ordinate localisation of global campaign materials and global initiatives
Person Specification:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Hair/Beauty/Fashion/Luxury marketing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, in English (required), Cantonese (preferred) and Mandarin (preferred).  
  • A positive and proactive approach and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Flexible and adaptable to commit fully to this highly demanding role, working late hours if needed.
  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills are essential.
  • Must be computer literate and be proficient with MS applications, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
