TECHNICAL & SERVICE MANAGER

(Jakarta)


Job Description:

Customer Contact:

  • Maintains contact with customer accounts and end-users through phone contact, email, fax and correspondence.
  • Explains and administers company policies and procedures pertaining to customer service (e.g., warranty policy, parts credit, return policy, etc.)
  • Communicates effectively with internal customers (within Customer Support and other departments) on the status of current field failures and assists in determining corrective action to ensure customer satisfaction.

Technical Support:

  • Provides technical assistance to our Technicians using both oral and written communication modes.
  • Use service documents and troubleshooting guides to diagnose unit issues to achieve successful resolution.
  • Enters service request to dispatch a technician when needed to fix equipment.
  • Demonstrates the ability to use and read schematics to be able to solve technical problems.
  • Identifies repeat issues with unit and troubleshoots effectively or escalates to resolve.
  • Assists customers with parts orders which include data-entry of customer numbers, part numbers, quantity, etc.
  • Processes customer warranty or billable parts orders or returns.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, competence and abilities required to perform the job will be considered.

Job Requirement

  • Min. D3 Graduated from Machine/ Electrical Engineering; Diploma or Degree in Technical, Mechanical or Electronic, or Equivalent Technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' Customer Service phone experience.
  • Technical hands on experience in actual repair of electro-mechanical equipment at customer locations preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Field equipment repair experience preferred.

Additional Skills Preferred:
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to recognize parts and part numbers,
  • Must participate as a team player.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of phone calls on a consistent basis.
  • Other duties are required by position.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Able to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Respond to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Must be flexible and adapt quickly to change.
  • Proven Problem Solving Skills.
