OPERATIONS EXCELLENCE MANAGER (OPEX MANAGER) - PT. FLUID SCIENCES BATAM

We currently have an opening for Operations Excellence Manager (OPEX Manager) in our Batam operations and would like to invite a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join us.

OPERATIONS EXCELLENCE MANAGER (OPEX MANAGER)

• You will be responsible to provide strategic direction for the plant and advise the management team of its strategic roadmap. You will act as an Expert Leader in the areas of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing to support process and continuous improvement in the business through alignment with the facility and division’s OPEX’s goals.
• You will train, coach and mentor employees for Green Belts in the areas of process improvement and process management.
• You will develop strategic plans to deploy Lean tools ( VSM / SW / TPM / 8D / Kaizen) to the operations to meet sustainable improvement.

Specialized Skills/Knowledge :

• Ability to lead and support cross-functional process improvement teams.
• Ability to demonstrate managerial courage eg. in managing varied interests representing potential conflicts.
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to simultaneously manage and track large number of projects through completion.
• Strong team building skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross cultural communication skills
• Highly motivated, independent, resourceful and possess good leadership and managerial skills.
• Team player with passion for driving excellence, good facilitation skills, strategic change management and intervention capabilities.

• Ability to perform under pressure and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
• Able to relate the big picture with the senior management team as well as a hands on approach with the employees.

Basic Qualifications :

• Degree in Engineering, MBA would be an added advantage.
• 5 to 10 years working experience in a MNC manufacturing environment and possess strong background and knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEAS, APQP, Control Plans, Project Management and Problem Solving.
• Possess Lean Master or Six Sigma Black Belt.
