BT
Indonesia is a part of BT Global Services and has been doing business
since 2006. Locally, we have over 55 people, all based in a brand new
office we have just opened in Jakarta.
In
Jakarta, we run a 24x7 help desk for our IT manages services. Moreover,
a new customer innovation showcase is being built in Jakarta and due to
open in mid-2013, allowing our customers to experience our technology
first hand. We serve a number of large multinational customers as well
as many domestic customers.

Purpose Of Role:
The
role holder provides core support to Indonesia finance and accounting
operations. He/she typically focuses on process implementation and
provision of information, taking responsibility for the integrity and
accuracy of day-to-day operations, records or processes to the required
standards. This comprises accounting, day to day operations,
reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, reporting, consolidation, providing
commentary and analysis of financial information, audits and tax filing.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- To be responsible for maintaining accounts and preparing financial statements in accordance with Indonesian GAAP.
- Strong expertise in Indonesian GAAP, IAS and IFRS
- Core audit experience of minimum four years with PWC/EY at a Managerial level.
- Total industry experience of minimum 2-8 years, IT industry experience a preference but can be exempted for suitable candidates.
- Familiarity and hands on experience on ERP platform preferably Oracle Financials
- Experience in following work areas: Planning, Budgeting, Systems, Processes, Management Control, Internal Control, Tax and Finance Systems
- To ensure monthly closing in accordance with Company policies and within strict deadlines.
- Strong experience in handling of audits and closing audit within timeline
- Good working knowledge of tax and tax regulations of Indonesia
- Experience in working with Shared Services centre.
- Ability to independently handle all finance and accounting operations with limited supervision.
- Fluency in English both spoken and written
